Waiting Time
Once your deposit is received, you’re added to the queue. Waiting times vary, so please order at least 3 months in advance if you want the portrait for a specific date.

Payment
Once you place an order, I’ll send you an invoice for a 30% deposit. Please pay this within 14 days.
After receiving the deposit, I’ll add you to the waiting list. The remaining 70% + shipping is due after completion, payable via bank transfer or PayPal. Your portrait will be shipped once the full payment has been received.

The Process
When I begin working on your portrait, I’ll notify you. Depending on complexity, each piece takes 1 to 3 weeks.
You’ll receive regular updates, including progress pictures and a short timelapse video showing how your artwork is coming to life.

Framing
As an extra service, I offer professional framing for your artwork.
The soft pastel surface is very delicate and not smudge-proof – this is part of what gives the drawing its unique and gentle look.
My goal is for you to be truly happy with your finished work of art.

Shipping
For formats up to A3:
€12 flat rate for packaging and insured DHL shipping (within Germany).
Larger formats may cost extra.
Shipping via DHL takes place as soon as the full remaining amount has been received in my account.
Prices
All prices are base prices. Complex head angles, detailed collars, or backgrounds may increase the cost.
Standard Size Portraits
Paper size: 40 × 30 cm (about A3)
Good for: Dogs, upper body or full-body cat portraits, small animals (e.g. rabbits)

plus €12 for packaging and insured shipping (DHL, within Germany)
According to § 19 UStG (German tax law), no VAT is charged.
Small Portraits
Paper size: 30 × 20 cm (about A4)
Good for: Small dog breeds (head only), cat head portraits, or other small animals by request
298,- €

Custom Size
Paper size: every size is possible
Choosing the Right Size
I’ll be happy to advise you on the best size for your drawing. For example, I usually draw cats in standard size, since their posture says a lot about their elegance and personality.

Double Portraits
Paper size: 60x40cm or 70x50cm
Two or more pets in one drawing.
Starting at: 748,- €

Good for: Dogs at work (herding, hunting), dog sports, cats in motion

Framing (Optional)
I offer a full framing service to protect your artwork. The soft pastel surface is delicate and should not be touched – framing helps preserve the artwork and gives it a perfect finish.
Most of my clients choose this option, and I’ll gladly help you pick the best frame and matting to match both the artwork and your home.
Price depend on size and material (e.g. aluminum or solid wood).

Photo Reference – What I Need
A good photo is key for a good portrait. Here’s what to keep in mind:
Resolution & Sharpness
Clear, detailed, high-quality photos help me draw every feature.
Lighting
Even, soft lighting
No harsh shadows or overexposure
Natural light is great – see examples in my gallery
Perspective
Frontal or slight side view works best
Photo should be taken at the pet’s eye level
Eye level
The photo should always be taken at the dog’s eye level.
Expression & Colors
The pet’s natural expression
Accurate fur and eye colors
You can also send multiple photos for reference
Copyright
If the photo isn’t yours, I need written permission from the photographer
Old or Low-Quality Photos?
If you only have older or blurry photos, don’t worry – contact me and we’ll talk it through.
Sometimes I can still create a beautiful portrait, even from less-than-perfect images. Many happy clients have been surprised by what’s still possible.
